Edna Mae (Redman) Dennis

Death Notice

Edna Mae Redman Dennis, 85, wife of 44 years to the late Kenneth Dennis, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2018 at Heritage Hall Care Center/Signature Health Care.
Born June 21, 1933 in Spencer County, Edna was the daughter of the late Vinsen and Ollie Bell Hall Redman.
Edna was a retired welder with Blue Ribbon Steel and a member of the Glensboro Christian Church. Edna loved flowers and enjoyed gardening, reading books and cooking.
Edna is survived by two sons, Roger Cox and his wife Connie of Lawrenceburg and Doug Dennis of Mt Eden; five grandchildren, Becca Murphy, Lori Cox, Tiffany Micthem, Travis Dennis and Nicholas Dennis; five great grandchildren, Tyler, Dalton, Kendra, Katelyn and Eli; a brother, Jerry Redman and his wife Alesa of Taylorsville.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings, Francis Donavan, Ollie Jean Lacefield, Cecil Redmon, Barbara Hood and Veldia Smith
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 at Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Temple, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday.
Casket bearers will be Travis Dennis, Nicholas Dennis, Tyler Noel, Dalton Aldridge, Bill Bollinger and Rick Boggs.
