Estella M. "Stella" Bailey, 85, Brownstown, died at 2:35 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at Schneck Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 3, 1926 in Jackson County to the late James Emory and Rosie (Fields) Brown. On July 11, 1949 she married Samuel Thomas Bailey in Carrolton, Ky., and he precedes her in death.
Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Brownstown Church of the Nazarene. She was a homemaker who enjoyed working word find puzzles and enjoyed the company of her dog, Snowball.
Survivors include, three daughters, Rosie (Winford) England of Columbus, Carolyn Pelayo of San Jose, Calif., and Linda (Ronnie) Dunn of Topeka, Kan.; a brother, Donald Lee Brown of Florida; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Pastor Ben Durr officiating. Burial will be in Guthrie Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Tuesday until time of service.
Memorials may be designated to Brownstown Church of the Nazarene.
