Emilio J. Gonzales, 28. lost his battle with depression and anxiety Dec. 18 in St. George, Utah. He was born April 25, 1990. in Brighton, to Sylvester and Mona (Maes) Gonzales.
Emilio loved martials arts, and taekwondo. He was also an avid video gamer. He had a ton of friends across the states of Colorado and Utah. He will be missed tremendously by so many.
Survivors are his parents; four sisters, Mari, Andrea, Manirva, and Bella; three brothers, Pelon, Santi, and Daniel; brother-in-law Ben ("Brother Ben"); many nieces and nephews; and countless uncles, aunts and cousins.
His younger brother, Mario, preceded him in death.
Rest in peace son, brother and uncle.
A celebration of life will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Tabor Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, which handled the arrangements. Emilio will be laid to rest at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, with his brother at Elmwood Cemetery in Brighton.
