Preston was dedicated friend to my brother, Randy. He was a kind person and terrific golfer. Preston never met a stranger and was the same person from day to day when I was around him. He is missed by many.

I only learned of Preston's death last night from a mutual friend. I was truly shocked and saddened. Preston and I were friends for many years, starting at St. John's in Delafield, WI and were roommates there. He and I spent many wonderful times in Marianna and in Ft. Smith. I loved his family and loved every trip I had to his home. We spent many hours running the trains in the basement and shooting in the peach orchards with Booster. Their family was unlike any I had ever known and I thought they were perfect. I can only imagine the pain Mary Bliss, Bliss and all the family must feel over his loss. Preston came to Ft. Smith and visited with my family only months ago and unfortunately, I missed him. Please know how much I loved him and your family and that I will always pray for him and all of you. This is a very sad time for all of us.

Preston and I, and many others, went through 12 years of school together. He was always someone that I respected because of his character, which I'm sure continued throughout his adult life. My condolences to his family.

May the God of comfort and tender mercies continue to comfort your family and friends, and may you find comfort in the words found in the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."" Please accept my sincere condolences during this time of your loss.
