Twila May Marshall, Feb. 27, 1924 – Nov. 3, 2011, of Vilonia.
Preceded in death by her husband, CK Marshall; and her son, William (Bill) Kyzer.
She is survived by a son, Floyd Marshall (Royia) of Carlisle; and a daughter, Linda Strickland (Tommy) of Meridian, Miss. Her grandchildren include LeAnne Wooten (Jay), and Ryan Marshall (Shannon), all of Beebe, Tammy Hicks (Prentiss), Connie Agent, and Tommy D. Strickland (Melissa), all of Meridian, Miss., and Jennifer Lauren Carmody (Justin) of Little Rock. Her great-grandchildren include Jaylee, Marshall, Connor, AnnaBelle and Rylie of Beebe, Tanner, Christopher, Harley and Kennedy of Meridian, Miss., and Rachel, Leah and Erica of Little Rock.
Twila has always been very active in the lives of her children and their families. She has worked with both the Boys and Girls Scout organizations. She was given a life-time membership in the Sylvan Hills PTA. She was a longtime member of Gravel Ridge Baptist Church and a charter member of Runyan Baptist Chapel. After moving to Vilonia she became a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was employed at the Vilonia Elementary School until her retirement.
The families ask in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Friendship Baptist Church, 767 Rocky Point Road, Conway, AR 72032.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, and funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Friendship Baptist Church in Vilonia, with burial to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
