Anthony P. Castro
SALINAS
Anthony Paul Castro, 54, lifelong resident of Salinas, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013, in Merced. Anthony was number six of nine children born to John and Grace Castro on May 11, 1959 in Salinas.
Anthony attended Alisal High School and graduated in 1978, and went on to serve in the U.S. Marines.
Anthony worked in retail, he also loved computers and became very knowledgable building computers from scratch. He enjoyed the air shows and would volunteer his services during the Blue Angels air shows. Anthony was also a Star Trek "Trekee".
Anthony leaves behind his parents, John Joe and Grace (Williams) Castro, Sr.; brothers and sisters, Isabel Castro, Johnny Castro, Dolores Ontiveros, Raymond Castro, Cleo Castro, Henry Castro, Rebecca McClellan, Irene Castro; 25 nieces and nephews, grand-nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 1 to 9 p.m., with an Evening Prayer service at 7 p.m., all at the Healey Mortuary Chapel, 405 N. Sanborn Road, Salinas, CA 93905.

Anthony and I were co-workers a few years ago. He was one of the kindest , compassionate, and happy people I have had the joy to work with. He gave his customers 110 per cent!
