Graciela Garcia Obituary
Graciela Garcia

Salinas - On Saturday, November 3rd, 2018, Graciela Garcia, 74, passed away surrounded by her beloved family. Graciela was born in Mexicali, Baja California on October 6, 1944. She came to California with her husband, Enrique in 1962.

Graciela was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved to sing and dance and was always the life of the party. She held a special place in her heart for all of her grandchildren, who knew her as "Gramita" and spend many years babysitting the grandkids, cooking, playing and giving out free words of wisdom about life, love and Jesus. She was a great conversationalist and loved to chat on the phone with her family and friends. She loved spending hours tending to her garden. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. We will miss her beautiful smile but know that she will always be with us in our hearts and in spirit.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Enrique Garcia, her children Enrique Garcia, Jr., Grace Irwin, Gabriel Garcia, Rosa Rosales (Michael), and Ralph Garcia (Susie), 13 grandchildren, 6 siblings and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Cruz Navarro and brother Rafael Navarro.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 pm and Rosary from 7:00-9:00 pm at Alta Vista Mortuary, 41 East Alisal St., Salinas.

Mass will be on Tuesday, November 13th at 10:00 am, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 22 Stone St., Salinas. Followed by a burial at Garden of Memories, 850 Abbott Street, Salinas, CA. 93901.
