TURKOVIC Ivan 16.2.1929 - 12.8.2018 Passed away at Gandarra, aged 89. Born in Croatia. Lived, loved and died in Ballarat. Son of Bozo and Bozica Turkovic of Croatia (both dec.). Loving husband of Anka. Loved father of Klaudio (Dec.), Livio, Jacqueline and Tania. Father in law of Sharon, Michael and Ken. Adored Dido and grandfather of Sam, Seth, Dane, Delana, Amy and Aida. Brother of Tony (Dec.), Milan (Dec.), Livia (Dec.). Loving brother of Marko and Angelko who are in Croatia mourning his passing. Ivan had a strength, yet sensitivity, with an endearing character. He was fair, yet never afraid to say it as he saw it. A keen wit that could always put a clever spin on things, that would leave his endless visitors laughing and coming back for more. Though the years took their toll, the love for and of his family and friends never diminished. We will for ever cherish the many fond memories of love and happiness for a dear husband, father and loving Dido. Loving husband of 57 years. My heart is breaking.
