Ruth E. Maier, 86, Brockway, Pa., formerly of Falls Creek, Pa., died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, at Highland View Health Care in Brockway.
Born July 19, 1929, in Brockway, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Kempton and Bertha Bliss Preston.
In May of 1978, she married Donald Maier. He preceded her in death in 1994.
Ruth was a homemaker and a member of Smithtown Community Church.
She was a longtime volunteer with both the DuBois Regional Medical Center and DRMC Hospice. She also enjoyed doing crafts.
She is survived by seven children: Sara "Sally" Preston and Edward Bundy and his wife Ann, both of Danville, Va.; Don Bundy and his wife Vicki of Falls Creek, Pa.; Kevin "Otis" Bundy and his wife Gina of DuBois, Pa.; Barbara Smith of Falls Creek, Pa.; Jerry Bundy and his wife Deb of Sykesville, Pa.; and Jeff Bundy of Falls Creek, Pa.; two step-children, Don Maier of Lancaster, Pa., and Lee Ann Zimmerman of San Bernardino, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Kenneth "Buddy" Bundy Jr. and Dennis Bundy; four brothers: Edward, Robert, Curt and William Preston; and three sisters: Evelyn Barr, Emma Lou Farrell and Nancy Witz.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, from the Smithtown Community Church with Pastor Harold Hills officiating.
Burial will be in Temple Cemetery, Warsaw Township.
Memorial donations may be made to Penn Highlands Hospice, 100 Hospital Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
The Goble-Baronick Funeral Home, DuBois, is in charge of arrangements.

My dearest aunt ruthie Bundy you are now in heaven with your 2 boys and your mom and dad and all your brothers and sisters gee aunt ruthie I will miss you sooooo much but all of us Will.
