Sandra E. Reitz, 76, of Reynoldsville, Pa., died on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, at Select Specialty Hospital in Johnstown, Pa.
Born Sunday, April 28, 1940, in DuBois, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Emerson M. Smith and the late Madeline C. (Forsyth) Smith. She was the wife of Robert L. Reitz.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hormtown until it closed, and was a member of the Hormtown Women's Club. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, watching sports and Jeopardy, and went to the DuBois Curves religiously.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughters, Valerie Kriner (Kevin)
of DuBois, Pa., and Paula Snell (Tom) of Reynoldsville, Pa.; brother, Stewart Smith (Debbie) of Reynoldsville, Pa.; sisters, Jennenne Smith (Dallas) of Reynoldsville, Pa., Judy Taylor (Ben) of Freehold, N.J. and Vicki Koromans (Mike) of Punxsutawney, Pa.; three grandchildren, Bryce and Aubree Snell of Reynoldsville, Pa., and Jacob Kriner of DuBois, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., located at 206 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851, with the Rev. Emily Koehler officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, at the funeral home.
