His wife, family and friends:
A conscientious, caring, dedicated, personable and very interesting guy! I was proud to know him, and truly enjoyed my last telephone conversation with Bill. May his wife, family and friends be assured that Bill left a legacy of solid teaching that included encouraging others to listen well, to honor each other, and to find common ground. He was a true leader! He is now resting comfortably. "Well done, good and faithful servant."

I grew up in DuBois, and was fortunate to enjoy many Sundays and holidays with Aunt Mitzi and Uncle Bill. As a child, my first significant emotional experience was to see my Uncle in a Santa suit. When asked what was his most important action as mayor; he answered that "l listened to people and helped when I could." Hala hala Dina halal one last time. Never new what this means and still don't.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I will always remember Bill as he said "good morning, how are you?" as he handed me a bulletin at church. I will never forget hearing him sing. My thoughts and prayers are with you Mitzi and the entire family.
