Judy Sloff Obituary

Judy R. Sloff, 75, DuBois, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born July 20, 1945, in Warren, PA, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Irene (Anderson) Atkins.

On September 18, 1965, she married Nicholas "Nick" Sloff in North Warren, PA. He survives.

Judy graduated from the Warren Area High School and DuBois Business College. She was employed as a purchaser for Owens-Illinois before her retirement. Judy loved cooking, flower gardening, bowling, attending her grandson's sporting events, going for long rides in the car, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by her son, Nicholas W. (Rebecca) Sloff, St. College, and her grandson, Nicholas E. Sloff. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William F. Atkins Jr.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 4 p.m – 6 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium. Immediately following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. from the funeral chapel with Pastors John Emigh and Lance Tucker officiating. Due to current regulations, masks are required and social distancing will be practiced. Visitors are asked to keep their visits brief to allow everyone the opportunity to pay their respects. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 100 W. Long Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.

I was saddened to read about your loss of Judy. I worked with you a long time ago at Erickson's, and I remember how close you and Judy were. I'm also glad that you had so many happy years together. God bless and take care!
