Amelia M. Keyser, age 79, of Commons Lane, Ridgway, Pa., died Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Pinecrest Manor in St. Marys, Pa., after a lengthy illness.
Born on March 7, 1939, in Kane, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Stites) Thompson.
Amelia was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Charles, Christopher, and Jeffrey Keyser, all of Ridgway, Pa.; two daughters, Elnora Harris of Wilmington, N.C., and Audrey Valentine and her husband Michael of St. Marys, Pa.; two brothers, David and Robert Thompson; two sisters, Bertha Asel and Linda Wenner; her longtime companion, Joseph "Butch" Cherry of Johnsonburg, Pa.; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Keyser; her grandson, Timothy Keyser, II; two brothers, William and John Thompson; and four sisters: Elizabeth Kelly, Katherine Repko, Dorothy Burton, and Sue Ann Kalgren.
There will be no public visitation and a funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Lake City Lutheran Cemetery, Lake City, Pa.
