Aurea A. Weaver, 72, of Manchester, died peacefully at home on Monday, Aug. 21, 2017.
Born in Penfield, a daughter of James and Alice Jones Burkett. She lived there until moving to Brick, N.J., in the late 1980s. She has resided in Manchester since 1993.
She was a Data Entry Operator for Stackpole Carbon Co., St. Marys, for many years, and later worked at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, for 14 years prior to retiring. She enjoyed doing secretarial work, and liked to watch hummingbirds and spend time with her family and pets. She was a 1963 graduate of DuBois High School.
She was predeceased by her parents, grandchildren, Matthew and Megan, and by her siblings, Arnold and Jimmy Burkett, Autumn Watson and Jane Conklin.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ronald; her children, Ronald Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Manchester, Brenda Poulillo and her husband, Frank, of Manahawkin, Thomas and his girlfriend, Miriam Ramos-Martinez, of Allentown, and Lisa Moore and boyfriend, Francisco Carvalho of Bethlehem; 10 grandchildren, Nicole, Ashley, Ronald III, Brittany, Frankie, Stephanie, Jon, TJ, Gregory and Benjamin; two great-grandchildren, Ronald IV and Zachary, and a great-grandchild on the way; and three sisters, Bobbie Mullaney, Joyce Conklin, and Linda Scanish.
Interment and committal services were held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, N.J.
