Barbara A. Caltagarone, 57, 603 Jackson St., Reynoldsville, died at 5:51 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.
Born July 28, 1957, in Natrona Heights, she was a daughter of Harold T. Clark Sr. and Lois Ankney Clark of Dunnellon, Fla. They survive. On Oct. 14, 1995, she was married to Reynoldsville Mayor Peach Caltagarone. He also survives.
She attended Burrell School District in Lower Burrell and was an employee of Christ the King Manor in the laundry department for 21 years.
Known as the "First Lady of Reynoldsville," Barb loved shopping, decorating for the holidays and quilting. An avid Steelers, Penguins, and dirt track racing fan, she also enjoyed camping, fishing and spoiling her grandchildren.
She was a member of the Renoldsville Presbyterian Church and the S&T Bank team for Relay for Life.
She is also survived by two daughters, Bobbi Jo (Steve) Gregor of DuBois and Sheena Caltagarone of Corsica; two sons, Christopher Doutt of Export and Steven (Betty) Caltagarone of Reynoldsville; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Verna Clark of Charlotte, N.C., and Vada Clark of Rural Valley; two brothers, William Clark of Upper Burrell and Harold (Shannon) Clark of Vandergrift; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Dyllan King; a nephew, T.J. Stankiewicz; a brother, Richard Smart; and a sister, Betty Jane Lloyd.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 13, at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home in Reynoldsville. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, at the funeral home with the Rev. Steven J. Hendrickson officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Reynoldsville.
