Betty L. Kuntz, 80, DuBois, passed away Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015, at her home.
Born Nov. 15, 1934, in Sykesville, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Clara (Sandy) Fike.
She married Blair E. Kuntz on Nov. 21, 1955, in Baltimore, Md. He survives.
Betty graduated from Sykesville High School.
She was a homemaker and worked as a cook at Christ the King Manor.
Betty was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Troutville.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is also survived by five children: Robert (Beth) Kuntz of Summerville, Barbara Kuntz of DuBois, William (Tina) Kuntz of Troutville, Brenda (Harry) Peoples of DuBois, and Bruce (Susan) Kuntz of Rockton; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Betty was also preceded in death by a son, Brian Kuntz; and two sisters, Dorothy Horner and Regina Bontempo.
Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the Adamson Funeral Chapel Inc. in DuBois and Wednesday, Aug. 26 at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Troutville from 10-10:45 a.m. A funeral service will follow the church visitation at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Audra Krise officiating. Interment will be in Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery.
