Beulah M. Sylvis, 92, of Reynoldsville, Pa., died on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, at her residence in Reynoldsville, Pa.
Born Sunday, Dec. 30, 1923, in Winslow Township, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Ward B. Kougher and the late Melva J. (Wilson) Kougher. She was the wife of Paul G. Sylvis.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the former Reynoldsville Grange #1825, the Rosary Society, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a retired sprayer for the former Jackson China in Falls Creek.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Lloyd L. and Herman S. Kougher; two sisters, Norma G. Delp and Mary Etta Kougher.
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, located at 607 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851, with the Rev. Msgr. Charles Kaza officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery, Reynoldsville, Pa.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 206 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, Pa.
