Beverley J. Mosier, 71, of Anita, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016 at Laurelbrooke Personal Care Facility in Brookville.
Mrs. Mosier was born June 21, 1945, on the Bish Farm in Porter, the daughter of the late J. Frank and Margaret C. (Justice) Bish.
Mrs. Mosier was married to Daniel W. Mosier Jan. 19, 1974, who survives.
She was a graduate of the Punxsutawney High School, Class of 1963.
Mrs. Mosier worked for Farmers and Miners and later S&T bank in Punxsutawney for over 46 years. In her free time, she enjoyed car rides, reading, crocheting, crafts and talking to family and friends.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Punxsutawney. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Anita.
In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include one daughter, Dana Mosier and fiancé Jeff Pennington of Anita; one son, William Mosier and wife Ashley of Greensboro, N.C.; one sister, Claribelle Bish of Glen Campbell; three brothers, Rev. Eugene Bish of Oklahoma City, Okla., Howard Bish of Punxsutawney, Clyde (Helga) Bish of Punxsutawney; two grandchildren, Riley, Elizabeth (Libby-Leigh) and a third on the way of Greensboro, N.C.; numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Rowse (Bish); one infant brother, Jesse Bish; and sisters-in law, Betty and Mildred Bish.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., today, Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney, and also from 12:30 till the time of service on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at the First United Methodist Church of Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at the First United Methodist Church of Punxsutawney with Pastor Mark Heckman officiating.
Interment will be in Anita Community Cemetery.
