Bonnetta L. ""Bonnie"" Rafferty, age 89, of South Brady Street, DuBois, Pa., died on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born on September 27, 1928 in Hormtown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William G. and Margaret (Thompson) McGranor.
Bonnie attended Reynoldsville High School.
On May 27, 1948 she married Lawrence ""Buck"" Rafferty at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Reynoldsville. He survives.
Bonnie worked at Cameron Manufacturing Company in Reynoldsville; Sylvania Electric in Brookville and after many years as a stay-at-home mom, she returned to work at JC Penney in DuBois and retired in September 1992.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hormtown. She enjoyed traveling, camping and following Buck, when he delivered a truck somewhere to bring him home. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.
Bonnie is survived by a son, Brad Rafferty and his wife Carol of Punxsutawney, Pa.; a brother, William E. McGranor and his wife Jean of Reynoldsville, Pa.; two grandchildren, Meggie Lepionka and her husband Keith of DuBois, Pa., and Casey Rafferty of Indiana, Pa.; three great-grandchildren, Lizzie, Lainey and Lucas Lepionka; and three sisters-in-law, Ann McGranor of Reynoldsville, Pa., Donna Rafferty of DuBois, Pa., and Joan ""Jan"" Schoch of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Dale McGranor.
There will be no public visitation.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018 at 12 p.m. from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., DuBois, with Pastor Audra Krise officiating.
Burial will be in Troutville Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery.
The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., is in charge of the arrangements.
