Bonnie Lee Huff, 73, Hickory Avenue, Weedville, Pa., died at home, surrounded by her family, Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, after a battle with cancer.
She was born on Sept. 24, 1944, in DuBois, Pa., to Myles and Christine (Bundy) Garvin.
On July 21, 1962, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force, Pa., she married Ronald F. Huff, who survives in Weedville.
Besides her husband, Bonnie is also survived by her mother, Christine of Pinecrest Manor in St. Marys; her children, Shelly Huff and Ronna (Alex) Rebo, both of Weedville; five grandchildren: Dustin and Tony Reed, Angela Huff, Brianna (Calvin) Dusch and Paul Lenze; a great-grandson, Larkin Reed; a brother, Vaughn (Jean) Garvin Sr. of DuBois; and a sister, Crystal Garvin of DuBois.
She was preceded in death by her father, Myles; a sister, Olivia in infancy; and her son, Denny Huff.
Bonnie was a 1962 graduate of DuBois Area High School, a devout Christian and a very devoted mother and grandmother. She was a past head of housekeeping at Wolfe Run Manor of Treasure Lake where she had worked for many years. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing softball and serving as a Girl Scout Leader. She lived all her life in Bennetts Valley.
There will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
