Brenton J. Ruhlman, 29, Brookville, passed away unexpectedly as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident at 12:12 a.m. Sunday, May 10.
Born Aug. 16, 1985, in Franklin, Brenton was the son of Brian Ruhlman of Franklin and Vicki Winkler Ruhlman of Seneca. They survive.
He was a graduate of Precision Manufacturing Institute in Meadville and was employed as a welder at Miller Welding and Machine Company.
Brenton loved being outdoors. He enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, hunting, fishing, golfing, working on cars and "four-wheeling" in his Jeep Wrangler.
He especially cherished and loved his children and the time he spent with them.
Brenton is also survived by his twin sons, Joseph and James Ruhlman of Seneca; his daughters, Alexis Ruhlman of Seneca and Madalyn Wagner of Titusville; and his fiancee', Rachel Swanson of Brookville.
He is also survived by his sisters, Kristen Mahle and her husband, Andrew, of Marble, and Heidi Sass and her husband, Tony, of Fuquay Varina, N.C.; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Winkler, of Franklin; and his nieces and nephews: Maggie and Shawn Mahle, Madilyn and Grace Sass, and Alexandra and Ethan Horsfall.
Brenton was preceded in death by his sister, Jami Horsfall; his paternal grandparents, Agnes and David Ruhlman; his maternal grandfather, Howard Winkler; and his aunt, Amy Ruhlman.
Family and friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at the Gardinier Funeral Home Inc., 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Franklin Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Robert Himes officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
