She was born Dec. 8, 1957, in DuBois, Pa., a daughter of Luella "Lou" (Hoover) Wray of DuBois and the late Harry "Sooner" Wray. On May 7, 2011, she married her companion of 19 years, Darryn Renwick, who survives in Penfield.
In addition to her mother and husband, Cindy is also survived by her daughters, Emily (Jason) Leithner of Penfield and Kiley Longo of Penfield; three granddaughters, Molli Walls of Reynoldsville and Brooke and Karlee Leithner of Penfield; three sisters, Karen (Lee) Peterman of South Carolina, Nancy (Herb) Barr of DuBois and Marcia (Gary Turner) Gulley of Helvetia; a brother, Dave Wray of Falls Creek; and her two "boys" at home, Polamalu and Keisel.
Cindy was a bartender for many years before starting at Fairview Sintered Metals, later becoming GKN Sintered Metals, where she had worked for many years. Cindy fought through cancer on two different occasions throughout her later years of employment, ultimately retiring in 2010 to fight her third battle. Beating her third battle she was cancer free for six years when it returned and finally defeated her.
Cindy was a member of the Penfield United Methodist Church and the Penfield Firemen's. She enjoyed bowling, her yearly beach vacations, her church family and especially her grandchildren, "adopted grandchildren" and their sporting events. Cindy was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Penn State fan and was well known for her over-the-top yard decorating for each holiday.
Cindy is preceded in death by her father and her daughter, Gretchin Longo.
