Dallas H. Smith, 80, of Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania died on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, Pa.
Born Wednesday, March 31, 1937 in Washington Twp., Pa., he was the son of the late G. Howard Smith and the late Edna Crawford Smith. He was the husband of Jennenne T. Smith.
He is an veteran of the U.S. Marines and he retired from Symmco Inc. Sykesville, Pa. He was a member of Beechwoods Presbyterian Church and former Trustee and Elder. He was a former Washington Twp. Supervisor.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son, Eric M. Smith (Amanda) of Pickens, S.C.; daughters, April Smith Torhan of Morristown, N.J., and Crys Farsyth-Smith of Las Angeles, Calif.; brother, George F. Smith of DuBois, Pa.; sister, Jean S. Shuster of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; and three grandchildren, Allen, E.J. and Savannah.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Beechwoods Presbyterian Church, located at 14 Beechwood Road, Falls Creek, PA 15840 with the Rev. David Koehler and Rev. Emily Koehler officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Beechwoods Presbyterian Church.
