David A. Meredith, age 50, of Penn Avenue, Brockway, Pa., died on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born on March 7, 1966, he was the son of the late Andrew R. Meredith Sr. and Bessie "Pat" Plyler Meredith, who survives and lives in Brockway.
David attended the Brockway Schools until enrolling in Jeff Tech, from which he graduated.
He was Methodist by faith.
David enjoyed spending time outdoors and taking trips in the car. He greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.
In addition to his mother he is also survived by two daughters, Megan Meredith of Brockway and Amber Miller of Williamsport, Pa.; two brothers, Rick (Linda) Meredith and Dan (Mary Jo) Meredith, both of Brockway. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Payton Meredith and a grandson on the way.
He is preceded in death by his father and a brother, Ron Meredith.
There will be no public visitation. A private funeral service will be held with the Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
