David D. Stoneberg Sr., age 77, of Keystone Road, Brockport, Pa., died on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born on Nov. 2, 1940, in Crenshaw, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry and Josephine Sabatose Stoneberg.
Retired, Dave was the owner of Stoneberg Paving for 40 years.
He was a member of the Brockway and Horton Twp. Sportsmen's Clubs, S.O.I. Club in in Brockway and the Falls Creek Eagles.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing horse shoes, sitting around the camp fire and BBQ.
He is survived by three daughters, Deborah (Barry) Martz and Laura (Danny) Shenkle both of DuBois, Pa., and Shannon (Nick) Ciaramella of Brockway, Pa.; two sons, Michael (Virginia Jones) Stoneberg of Reynoldsville, Pa.; and David (Missy) Stoneberg Jr. of Brockway, Pa.; one sister, Norma Carnesali, also of Brockway; three brothers, John Stoneberg of of Mantuna, Ohio; Kelly (Barbara) Stoneberg of Hummelstown, Pa., and James Stoneberg of Florida; grandchildren: Christina (Michael) Stewart, Brittany Shenkle, Courtney Simon, Kyle Shenkle, Brandon (Erin) Stoneberg, Derek (Kimmy) Stoneberg, Katrina Stoneberg, Katie Austin, Gared Austin, Cheyenne Ciaramella; and great-grandchildren: Zahara Stewart, Arlo Stewart, Anna Gibson, Christian Gibson, Caleb Gibson, Ellie Gibson, Dalton Stoneberg, Caden Stoneberg, Johnel Stoneberg, Kairi Henry and Devyn Simon.
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by three brothers, Harry Stoneberg Jr., Gary Stoneberg, William Stoneberg; and a great-grandson, Jackson Stoneberg.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, Dec. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home, Inc., in Brockway. A funeral service will follow immediately at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway. Memorial donations may be made to the .
