In the words of Albert Einstein, "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as everything is a miracle." This defines the life of our beloved son/brother David.
David Matthew Caltagarone, 47, of Reynoldsville, died, Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at Geisinger Medical Center of Danville. Born May 26, 1968 in DuBois, Pa., the son of Francis M. Caltagarone of Reynoldsville and the late Edwardine "Eddy" C. (Wascovich) Caltagarone.
David was a 1989 graduate of DAHS and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Reynoldsville. He loved music and he loved life.
Being predeceased by his mother, and a brother, Daniel Gerard Caltagarone; David is survived by his father; a brother, Michael Caltagarone of Reynoldsville; three sisters, Mrs. Terry (Stacy) Delaney of Reynoldsville, Amy Spadaro of DuBois and Mrs. Gary (Gina) Lamb of DuBois.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois. Visitation will be also held from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Marys Catholic Church of Reynoldsville with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Father Richard Tomasone as celebrant.
David will be laid to rest in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery of Reynoldsville.
In lieu of donations, the family asks that you see a person for who they are and not their condition. Greet them with a warm hello and smile.
