Dee Evelyn Matthews, 77, New York City, N.Y., passed away Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016.
She was born July 23, 1938, in DuBois, Pa., to the late Daniel G. and Evelyn Marcia Goodrich.
She graduated from DuBois High School in 1956. She retired from Columbia University as program coordinator, Columbia's Psychiatric Residency Training Program. She served as past National President, Continental Societies, Inc.; and a former Moderator, Presbytery of New York City. She was a board member of the North Presbyterian Church.
A jazz song stylist, she participated in church and choral groups.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Daniel G. Matthews.
Survivors include her brother, Robert "Bobby" Matthews of Torrance, Calif. and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
