Denny Myers, 65, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away peacefully on Oct. 24. He was born in DuBois, Pa., Oct. 7, 1950, to the late Arthur R. and Helen M. (Steponick) Myers.
Denny graduated from DuBois High School in 1968.
Baseball throughout his childhood led him to play, coach, and manage the DuBois Colonials Men's Team until 1981. His position was catcher.
He moved to Phoenix, Ariz., with his wife in 1982. He worked as a contractor most of his adult life.
He is survived by his wife Mary (Morris); sons, Timothy (Nisha) U.S. Navy and Tyler at home and daughter Katie. Besides his wife and children he is survived by two brothers, Lee R. (Nancy) and Terry E. (Judy) Myers; two sisters, Marla (Ed) Overdorf and Debbie Myers Bleam; and two grandchildren, Amaya and Brayden Myers.
His memorial service was held Oct. 30 in Phoenix, Ariz. His fun loving spirit will always be remembered.
