Donald Arthur Youngdahl (1926 - 2016)

Donald Arthur Youngdahl passed away on Dec. 4, 2015, in Prescott, Arizona, at the age of 89.
He was born in 1926 in Brockway, Pennsylvania, to parents Arthur F. Youngdahl and Ethel Annette Youngdahl.
Don served in the military in World War II as Army bandsman, oboe with discharge rank of Technical Sergeant.
Don was an avid lover and attendee of the opera, the symphony and the ballet. He continued to play the oboe throughout his long career as an obstetrician and gynecologist.
There will be a short graveside service honoring Don at Wildwood Cemetery, Brockway, at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016.
Don is survived by his brother, Morris Youngdahl; sister, Burnell Monson; children Susan Nicoson, Steven Youngdahl, Coleman Youngdahl, and Laura Grass; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
