Donald Richard Boboige, 69, Jefferson Manor, formerly of Falls Creek, passed away Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, at Penn Highlands Brookville after a lengthy illness.
He was born April 7, 1946, in Sykesville, Pa., son of the late Michael and Ethel LaRue (Haag) Boboige.
Donald was a graduate of Reynoldsville High School. He was a Sergeant in the Air Force, specializing in Cryptographic Maintenance and was a Safety and Fire protection engineer for the Veterans Administration.
He attended New Mexico State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. He then attended Texas Agricultural & Mining College, minored in Safety Engineer and obtained his masters in Industrial Engineering.
Donald is survived by his son, Michael Lawrence Boboige of Lebanon, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Earl (Karen) Stover of Falls Creek; and two grandchildren.
Donald was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Boboige.
At the request of Donald no services were held.
Burial took place in the Soldiers Annex at Morningside Cemetery.
