Earl G. Stover, 87, Short Street, Falls Creek, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, at Christ the King Manor.
Born Nov. 30, 1927, in DuBois, he was the son of the late Frank and Iva Marshall Stover.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during World War II.
On June 6, 1978 in Falls Creek, he married Karen I. Boboige Stover. She survives.
Earl retired as the assistant manager at the Wine & Spirits Shoppe in DuBois after 17 years of service.
He is survived by a daughter, Donna Detwiler of Tyrone; a stepdaughter, Bobbie Jo Tamburlin of Perry, Ohio; a stepson, Scott Morse of Falls Creek; a sister, Marjorie Zumstein of Graham, Wash.; one granddaughter, Merissa; and two stepgrandsons, Tyler and Joshua.
He was also preceded in death by his children, Suzanne McBride and Bradley Stover; one sister, Virginia Nolder; and three brothers: Howard, LeRoy and Lloyd Stover.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
