Edith A. Lingenfelter, 97, 101 George Ave., Reynoldsville, died Thursday, July 17, 2014, at home.
Born May 12, 1917, in Reynoldsville, she was a daughter of the late Ollie and Addie Horm Clontz.
On Jan. 8, 1940, she married Thomas G. Lingenfelter, who preceded her in death Dec. 1, 1986.
She was a homemaker and attended Bollinger Church.
She is survived by five sons: Thomas (Donna) Lingenfelter of Williamsport, Edward (Cindy) Lingenfelter of Leechburg, Albert Lingenfelter of Sheffield, William Lingenfelter of DuBois and Melvin Lingenfelter of Sykesville; three daughters: Addie Mae Heberling of Reynoldsville, Iva (Joseph) Stockdale of Sykesville and Helen Lingenfelter of Reynoldsville; 32 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson, five brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 amd 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home, Reynoldsville.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kevin Bockus officiating.
Burial will be in Panic Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
