Forrest L. Brubaker, 87, DuBois, passed away Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born Nov. 3, 1927, in Home Camp, he was the son of the late William C. and Kathleen (Shaffer) Brubaker. He married Norma (Thomas) Brubaker on Oct. 2, 1954. She survives.
Forrest served in the U.S. Navy after graduating from DuBois High School.
He later retired from S&T Bank in 1992.
He was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Rockton.
He is survived by his three children: Debbie Brubaker of DuBois, Nancy Hennessy and her husband, Mark, of Warminster, and Eric Brubaker and his wife, Robin, of DuBois. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Adam Hennessy and his wife, Lauren, of Boca Raton, Fla., Colleen Hennessy of Philadelphia, Kayla Hennessy of Tampa, Fla., and Lily and Chad Brubaker of DuBois, as well as a great-grandson, Gavin Hennessy. Forrest is survived by four siblings, Bob Brubaker of Nogales, Ariz., Hod Brubaker of Rockton, Jim Brubaker of Ridgway, and Margaret Gray of Atlanta, Ga.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Brownlee; and a brother, Milton Brubaker.
A funeral service was held in his memory. Interment was in Rockton Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Adamson Funeral Chapel Inc. of DuBois.
