Glenn R. Perrin, 91, Davidsville, died June 10, 2015, at Laurel View Village.
Born March 10, 1924, in Falls Creek, he was a son of the late Nathan S. and Golden Dawn (Bullers) Perrin.
He was preceded in death by beloved wife, I. Arlene (Smith) Perrin.
He is survived by sons, Leon and G. Wayne Perrin; and daughters, I. Alice Perrin and Joyce Neumann, married to David M. Neumann, and their respective families. He was the last survivor of his immediate family.
Glenn retired from the former Riverside Markets Penn Traffic Division where he was the manager of the meat department. Glenn served his country and fought for our freedom during World War II in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Perrin became a Freemason in 1955, served as Past Grand Tall Cedar of Allegheny Mountain Forest 127, a member of Greater Johnstown Lodge No. 538, and active with the Good Cheer Club at the Masonic Temple.
He had attended the Elton United Methodist Church.
Glenn enjoyed golfing with wife "Arnie" and their friends at Oak Brook Golf Course in his later years. His most recent residency was at Laurel View Village, where he was lovingly cared for by the commendable staff of both LVV and Windber Hospice. Overall, he enjoyed living in the country and always missed the old farm back in Falls Creek.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Windber Hospice.
Graveside services will be conducted at a later date at the convenience of the family in Hazen.
Arrangements in care of the Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., "Exclusive Provider of Veterans and Family Memorial Care."
