Gloria D. Kuhta, 71, DuBois, passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at Ridgeview Elder Care.
Born Jan. 10, 1944, in Jacksonville, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Frank S. and Peggy E. (Dixon) Thompson.
Gloria was the owner of Peaches and Cream Creative Designs in the Regency Mall in Indiana, Pa. She enjoyed attending craft shows and flower arranging. Gloria was a member of the VFW in DuBois. She was Protestant by faith.
Gloria is survived by two children, Anita Bacon of Wichita, Kan. and T. Frank Bacon of Elderton, Pa.; four grandchildren: Alex and Sydney Bacon, Vance Kuhta and Amber Ducharme; a brother, Beeman Thompson of Belvedere, S.C.; a niece, Terry Kelley; and a nephew, Steve Thompson. She is also survived by her life companion, Kenneth Reese, with whom she had made her home for the last nine years.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, at the Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc. in DuBois. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at the funeral chapel with LaMarr Adamson C.L.P. officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, Pa.
