Howard E. Yeaney, 80, Reynoldsville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, at Penn Highlands Healthcare in DuBois.
Born April 11, 1934, in Punxsutawney, he was the son of the late Howard W. and Helen Kromer Yeaney.
On July 23, 1957, he married Donna I. Yeaney Adamson in Punxsutawney. She survives.
Howard was a steel worker for U.S. Steel and retired in 1977.
He was Protestant by faith.
He was a member of the Eagles and the Steel Workers Union.
In addition to his wife, Howard is survived by two children, Jodie Plotner and Rick Yeaney, both of Reynoldsville; three grandchildren: Jason Plotner, Jessica Hoyt and Justin Yeaney; a great-grandchild, Cleighton Hoyt; a sister, Debra Porter of Punxsutawney; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ester J. Powell and Marilyn Himes; and two brothers, Robert and William Yeaney.
Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Adamson Funeral Chapel Inc. in DuBois. A Service of Remembrance will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. with LaMarr Adamson C.L.P. officiating. Interment will be in Sykesville Memorial Cemetery.
