Jacqueline F. Kriner, 87, 2179 Wishaw Road, Reynoldsville, died Wednesday evening, Oct. 8, 2014, at the Jefferson Manor, Brookville.
Born July 26, 1927, in Porter, she was the daughter of the late George I. Fordoski and Letha L. Freedline Fordoski. She was married to Chester B. Kriner on June 12, 1943. He preceded her in death March 19, 2002.
She was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, Reynoldsville. She was a member and past president for 13 years of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 392. She retired from the Jeff Tech kitchen staff after 15 years of service.
Survivors include two sons, Chester B. (Nina) Kriner Jr. and Brian (Mary Ann) Kriner of Reynoldsville; three daughters: Sharon L. Cheslock of DuBois, Debra (Harry) Schweiger and Jacqueline (Tony) Berrios of Reynoldsville; a sister, Josephine Ross of Erie; 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Kriner; and two brothers, Chester and Thomas Fordoski.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home in Reynoldsville. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Leon Blose officiating. Burial will be in the Reynoldsville Cemetery.
