James Dwight "Jim" Postlewait, age 79, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by family on Monday, August 27, 2018.

Jim was born on February 28, 1939 to the late Edward and Myrna (Knapp) Postlewait in Knoxdale, PA. He was a member of the United States Army Reserves.

On May 31, 1958 he married his beloved wife Shirley Ann (Bowman) Postlewait in Winchester, VA. Jim was a member of the Reynoldsville F.O.E. and the Reynoldsville American Legion.

He enjoyed camping and was a camp host at the Cook Forest State Park for over twenty years. Jim loved to drink coffee and was even referred to as the "Coffee King" by some. He was known for having an excess amount of coffee in which he would hand out to anyone he could that was camping at the park. He also enjoyed going hunting and fishing with family.

In addition to his wife Shirley Ann (Bowman) Postlewait, Jim is survived by three daughters; Vickie (Roger) David of Maryland, Kyra Postlewait, and Alyssa Postlewait; one son; Sonny (Susan) Postlewait; two grandsons; Sonny Jr. and Aaron; three granddaughters; Ashley, Sierra, and Sarah; and two great-grandchildren; Lelend and Mia. In addition to his parents Jim is preceded in death by one son; Jimi Postlewait; one daughter; Terry Postlewait; four sisters; and three brothers.
