Jeffrey William Fustine, age 46, of 9th Avenue, Brockway, Pa., died on Friday, August 26, 2016, at his residence.
Born in DuBois, Pa., on July 17, 1970, he was the son of William and Vicki Morrison Fustine of Brockway. On Oct. 2, 2004, he was married to Beverly Calhoun. She survives.
Jeff was employed at Phoenix Sintered Metals in Brockway as a laborer, and also was a member of the safety committee.
Jeff was a member at St. Tobias Church in Brockway.
He was a 28-year member of the Brockway Volunteer Hose Company where he held numerous offices over the years. He also was a Certified Fire Fighter 1. In 2012, he became Chief 1 and served in that capacity for the past four years. He also was a member of the Snyder Township EMA; and the Boone Mountain Bow Hunters.
Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, camping and taking long walks. He also loved his Labs, Max, Duke and Bear, dearly.
In addition to his parents Bill and Vicki, and his wife Beverly, he is also survived by a brother, Jon Fustine of Harrisburg, Pa. and Suzanne; two stepdaughters, Angela and Lexi Buffone, both of Brockway; three stepsons; his paternal grandmother, Gertrude Fustine of Brockway; an uncle, Terry (Sharon) Fustine, also of Brockway; four aunts: Marsha Johnson of New Stanton, Pa., Peggy (Joe) Kilmer of Brockway, Debbie (John) Horner of DuBois and Cindy (Dave) McKay, also of Brockway. He is also survived by a grandson, Eli.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William Fustine; maternal grandparents, Neil and Lois Craft and grandfather Paul Morrison; and an aunt, Shelley Mori.
Calling hours will be from 1-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. The funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday, Aug. 31, at St. Tobias Church in Brockway with Msgr. Charles Kaza officiating. Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery.
Although flowers will be accepted, memorial donations to the Brockway Volunteer Hose Company are preferred.
