Jodie M. Garman, 49, 103 Broadway St., Reynoldsville, died Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Nelson's Golden Years after a long battle with cancer.
She was born June 1, 1967, a daughter of Clinton ""Skip"" Harriger and Nancy (Smith) Harriger. Both survive in Emerickville.
On Oct. 3, 1998, she was married to James S. Garman. He survives.
Jodie graduated from Brookville High School in 1985.
She was formerly employed with U&I of Reynoldsville, and following that, Guardian Home Health.
She was a member of Emerickville United Methodist Church.
Jodie enjoyed crafts.
In addition to her parents and husband, of Reynoldsville, she is survived by one son, Zach Garman of Reynoldsville; one brother, Kevin Harriger (Joyce) of Emerickville; one sister, Robin Fenstermaker; three uncles; two aunts; two nephews, Justin and Jeremy; two nieces, Kristen and Jessy; and one great-niece.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home in Reynoldsville. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, at the funeral home with the Rev. David Chin of Emerickville United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to U.P.C.I., 5150 Center Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15232.
