Joseph Francis O'Donnell, 87, O'Donnell Road, Sigel, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, at his home.
Born July 1, 1927, in Sigel, he was the son of the late John Patrick O'Donnell and Catherine Songer O'Donnell. He was married to Anna Marie Eisenman, who preceded him in death Oct. 25, 2008.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of St. Dominics Church in Sigel and the Knights of Columbus.
He was a lifelong dairy farmer
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Jane O'Donnell of Sigel; a son, Paul F.( Michele) O'Donnell of Columbia, Md.; three sisters: Mary Bandanza (Santo) of Frederick, Md., Priscilla Allgeier (William) of Brookville, Rosezella Weaver of Sigel; and a brother, James O'Donnell (Barbara) of Sigel; two grandchildren, Corey and Meghan O'Donnell.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Mark A. O'Donnell; three brothers: John, Robert and Charles O'Donnell; three sisters: Anna Aaron, Gertrude Dennis and Helen Byer; and three infant brothers and sisters
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, at the McKinney Funeral Home in Brookville. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the
Immaculate Conception Church, Brookville, with the Rev. William Laska officiating. Burial will be in St. Dominics Cemetery, Sigel.
