Joseph W. DeLullo Sr. (1948 - 2015)

Joseph W. DeLullo Sr., 66, of Terra Cotta Road, Johnsonburg, died early Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at Penn Highlands Elk, after an illness of 10 years.
Born May 4, 1948, in St. Marys, he was a son of the late Joseph P. and Erma Matthews DeLullo. He married Josephine Tomaski DeLullo May 27, 1971. She survives at home.
Joseph was a graduate of St. Marys High School. Raised in Weedville, he had been a Johnsonburg resident since 1971.
He served in Vietnam with the U.S. Marines from 1966-1969.
Joseph was a diesetter for Metaldyne for 27 years, retiring in 2005.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially spending time with his wife.
Joseph is also survived by four children: Cindy (Stacy) Kunes of Caledonia, Trisha Colson of Ridgway, Joseph W. (Theresa Gorske) DeLullo Jr. of Johnsonburg, Michael (Lynn) DeLullo of Wilcox; 10 Grandchildren: Tyler, Shawn and Veronica Colson, Erica DeLullo, Cody and Emily Kunes, Hudson DeLullo, Morgan Rae Hedley, Anna-Marie Pounds and Ian Gorske; two brothers, Ronald (Rhonda) DeLullo of Georgia and David (Joyce) DeLullo of St. Marys.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Anna Parks.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, and from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at the Ubel Funeral Home in Johnsonburg. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Father David Wilson officiating.
Military honors will be accorded by the Marine Corps Funeral Honor Detail. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Ridgway.
