Josephine Ann (Joan) Glenn Miller Crum, 84, DuBois, passed away at the home of her daughter on Monday, July 14, 2014.
Born July 25, 1929, in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Charles Sr. and Lucielle Marie Morris Glenn.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, John Albert Miller Sr.; second husband, Henry George Crum, her only son, John Albert Miller Jr.; only brother, Clarence Charles Glenn Jr., who was killed in World War II on the island of Laiti; and a granddaughter; Beth Ann Gelnett.
She is survived by her only daughter, Mrs. Perry LeRoy (Darla) Ann Miller Gelnett; her great-granddaughter, Courtney Marie Gelnett; and a great-great-grandson, Jonathan Aron Gelnett.
She was a caregiver to the elderly. She worked in the kitchen at Maple Avenue Hospital. She enjoyed decorating and spending time with her family. She belonged to the Rosary Society, as well as an active member of St. Catherines Church.
She will be dearly missed.
A private service was held on Thursday at St. Catherine's Church with Fr. Richard Siefer officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
The family suggest donations to the organization of their choice.
