Joyce M. "Jay" Klaiber, 76, DeSalve Road, Penfield, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at Christ the King Manor surrounded by her family.
Born Aug. 9, 1938, in Penfield, she was the daughter of the late William and Ruth Auers DeSalve.
On Aug. 29, 1964, she married Francis "Ed" Klaiber. Last month, they celebrated 50 years of marriage. Ed survives her.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Force. Jay was a devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed shopping. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Jay is survived by her two children, Scott F. Klaiber of Penfield and Tammy L. Brundridge and her husband, Jimmie, of DuBois; and a brother, Terry DeSalve of DuBois.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William "Buddy" DeSalve and a sister, Judy Smart.
There will be no public visitation and private services will be held at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home, DuBois, with the Rev. Fr. William Sutherland officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Force.
