June Ann Main, 76, DuBois, passed away Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at the DuBois Nursing Home following a short illness.
Born June 12, 1941, in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Lester K. Zartman and the late June A. (Miles) Zartman-Lines.
She married William "Bill" A. Main on May 5, 1962, in DuBois. He preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1997.
June Ann graduated from the DuBois Area High School in 1959. She was a homemaker. As an avid sports fan, she loved to bowl, which included several different leagues throughout the years, play women's softball, and watch the Atlanta Braves, Pirates, New England Patriots, Golden State Warriors, and Penn State. Her most prized possession was her family and friends, whom she loved spending time with.
She is survived by two children, Lisa (Timothy) Bundy and Daniel Main, both of DuBois; four grandchildren: Timothy Bundy Jr., California, Adam Bundy, Virginia, Stephen (Amber Kinder) Bundy, Reynoldsville, and Nathan Bundy, DuBois; a great-granddaughter, Ellie Mae Bundy; two siblings, Lester (JoAnn) L. Zartman, Treasure Lake and Shirley (Blythe) Hagen, DuBois, as well as several nieces and nephews.
June Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, William "Billy" D. Main, and a brother, James Zartman.
Friends and family will be received Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc., DuBois. A funeral service will follow the visitation on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the funeral chapel with Rev. Mark Montgomery officiating. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
