Leo "Casey" Siemucha, age 84, Punxsutawney, Pa., formerly of DuBois, Pa., died Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Mulberry Square Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Punxsutawney, Pa.
Born Oct. 16, 1932, in Kramer, Pa., he was the son of the late John and Teckla (Zeych) Siemucha.
He retired in 1963 as a factory worker at the International Filler Company in North Tonawanda, N.Y. Leo was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed watching sports and game shows on television. He really liked the football and baseball games of Pennsylvania teams. He had a great sense of humor and you could always look forward to a few good laughs whenever you were with him.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews, and was cared for locally by his nephew, David Walko and his wife, Sandra. He will fondly be remembered by his great niece, Briel Pecourt and great nephews; Crittenden Hughes, Elijah Goodbread, and Manoli and Basil Despines.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Walko Ivoska, Stella Novasat and Victoria Kroften; and six brothers: John, Anthony, Alex, Samuel, Peter and Michael Siemucha.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., DuBois.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at 1 p.m. from the Baronick Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating.
Interment will be in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in Sykesville, Pa.
