Linda L. (McCoy) Quairiere, 66, DuBois, passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, at her home.
Born Nov. 7, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Ernest R. and Mary (Fite) McCoy Jr.
She married Barry R. Quairiere on Dec. 16, 1966, in Connellsville, Pa. He survives.
Linda graduated from Connellsville High School in 1967, where she participated in band and honor society.
While employed for Rockwell, she held a variety of positions. She retired in 2000.
Linda was a volunteer for DRMC Hospice and involved with C.O.R.E. She was a strong support system to her family and friends, often serving as the primary caregiver in times of need and illness. Linda was a member of Rainbow Girls and Job's Daughters. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family. She was Methodist by faith.
Linda is survived by two sons, Stephen V. Quairiere of DuBois and Brian T. (Tanya) Quairiere; five grandchildren: Stephani, Riley, Brooke, Isaac, and Brianne Quairiere; three great-grandchildren, Lennon, Brody, and Paisley; three siblings, Judy McCoy of Atlanta, Ga., Patricia (Joe) Lapresta of Uniontown, Pa., and Robert (Vickie) McCoy of Connellsville, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Leslie Quairiere.
There will be no public visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
