I have thought of her much in my life as she taught me at Sandy High and enabled me to have a business career. She was a fun teacher. I always liked her and her sense of humor. What a beautiful long life. Must be a beautiful family, too.

My deepest sympathy on the passing of Miss Kovach. She taught me shorthand I and II in 1963-1965. She signed my yearbook - I loved shorthand and used it after graduation! She was a good teacher with a sense of humor!

Dear Tulip, Michael and Dennis,
I was saddened to read of the death of your Aunt Louise.
She and all of you will be remembered in my daily Rosary and weekend Mass.
I don't believe I ever met your Aunt Louise but I remember her brother, your dear Dad, my "Uncle Bill Kovach". I thought the world of him and the many happy times we shared at your home in Curwensville. Most of all I remember supper time around your kitchen table. We all exchanged stories of what happened that day. Uncle Bill really enjoyed the dessert of blackberries (covered with milk and sugar) which we picked from the hillside behind your home on State Street. After dinner, your dear Mom, my Aunt Frances (and Godmother), would give us money to attend the Rex Theater to view that evenings movie. I'll always cherish the good times we shared during the Summertime in your home town of Curwensville.
Take care my dear cousins,
Ron Stojek

To the surviving family members of Miss Kovach, I am both saddened and surprised to learn of the death of my DuBois High School sophomore home room teacher from 1961. In reading her obituary, I was amazed to learn she was still living in Erie, and almost a hundred years of age. She has indeed been fortunate to have lived such a long and fruitful life. Apparently none the worse for my "carryings on" as an obnoxious fifteen year old student. I hold very fond memories of how well she tolerated me and meted out fair discipline. I truly believe she sincerely cared for me. Rest in Peace Miss Kovach, for it will not be too many years until you are again reunited with all your students.

I had Miss Kovach for bookkeeping and dictation class when I was a junior at DuBois Area High School in 1977. She was a wonderful teacher. We learned so much and had a lot of laughs in her classes.

Prayers for the family of Miss Louise Kovach, former neighbor on Olive Avenue and former teacher in Junior High School here in DuBois. She was a teacher and neighbor that cared about you and always had a good word to share with all. Praying for all of you at this sad time, but we know she is in heaven and rejoicing.

Louise was one of teachers in high school. She also was a friend of my mothers, I remember going to visit her on numerous occasions at her apartment on Olive Ave in DuBois. I have many good memories of her.
