Lyle G. Forsyth, 77, DuBois, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016.
Born Nov. 25, 1938, in DuBois, he was the son of the late Gerald and Lulu (Shubert) Forsyth.
He married Janet L. Rolls on July 27, 1957, in Erie. She survives.
Lyle was a graduate of Sandy Township High School. He was employed by Jackson China for 26 years and later performed electrical maintenance at Gasbarre Products until his retirement. Lyle was a lifetime member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of the home front, and spending time with his family. He was Protestant by faith.
In addition to his wife, Lyle is survived by two sons, Larry G. (Barbara) Forsyth and Jerry D. (Michelle) Forsyth; three grandchildren, Jennifer Bennett, Michael Forsyth, and Lori Crawford; seven great-grandchildren: Emma, Ethan, Mya, Foster, McKenzie, Abe and Noah; as well as a sister, Connie Owens.
He was preceded in death by both his parents.
Friends and family will be received from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc. A service of remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel with the Rev. David R. Nagele officiating.
