Margaret L. Mancini, 77, of 9th Avenue, Brockway, Pa., died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at Highland View Health Care in Brockway.
Born Feb. 20, 1938, in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Emma Marie Trabaudo Town. On June 30, 1962, she was married to Thomas A. Mancini. He preceded her in death March 17, 2008.
Retired, she had been employed as a secretary at Brockway Glass as well as a being a homemaker. She also baby-sat for numerous children over many years; all of them she loved very much.
Margaret was a member of St. Tobias Church in Brockway. She was a member of the DuBois Women's Bowling League, enjoyed spending time with her family, taking trips to the casino, reading, playing cards and watching cooking shows on television.
Margaret is survived by two daughters, Carla (Rex) Bullers of Brockway and Tina (James) Inzana of Chesapeake, Va.; one son, Tom Mancini of Brockway; four sisters: Viola Painter of Salamanca, N.Y., Donna (Ronald) Pifer of Brockway, Virginia Hamilton of Canyon Lake, Calif., Alexis (Neil) Johnson of Brockway; one brother, Louis (Sue) Town of Idaho Falls, Idaho. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Benjamin Craft, Elizabeth Fremer, Amber Ellis, Amanda Spencer, Andrew Craft, Austin Bullers, Aiden Bullers, Jaimee Elliot, Katy Irwin, Lindsey Inzana; and seven great grandchildren: Alex Carlson, Sierra Fremer, London Ellis, Kennedy Ellis, Nora Spencer, Kyleigh Irwin and Peyton Irwin.
In addition to her parents and her husband she was also preceded in death by a sister, Janet Oaks and a brother, William Town.
Calling hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at St. Tobias Church in Brockway with the Rev. Msgr. Charles Kaza presiding. Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery. A Vigil Service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Penn Highlands DuBois Hospice or Mengle Memorial Library.
